After going over the representation of both male and females in fashion magazines i decided that i didn't want to be the typical type of magazine. I want to avoid the stereotypes providing and creating a way where people can display their originality comfortably. In female magazines, the stereotype is tall skinny white blonde haired women. in male magazines, it is handsome fit white male models who appear in the middle ages. For my magazine i want to incorporate colored, natural, exotic ways in which people express themselves in today's society. Through this magazine, a sense of self esteem and confidence will be gained that would allow for others to want to express themselves rather than follow in the footsteps of others.
